Milton Medical Practice is located in the east of Edinburgh.
You can contact us by phoning 0131 549 7300. We provide modern general practice health care in a comfortable and easy to access setting and are always keen to accept new patients who wish to register with us.
Milton Surgery is a well-established GP medical practice covering a large area from Musselburgh in the east to the Meadowbank and Willowbrae areas in the west and the Niddrie, Craigmillar and Parclife areas to the south east of the city.

We are a long established Edinburgh doctors surgery and a training practice too. We regularly obtain our top targets for cervical screening and childhood immunisation.
The doctors and their team are recognised for provision of health promotion activities and run regular Asthma Clinics and Diabetic Clinics. We also provide a wide range of modern general medical services, maternity services, contraceptive services and child health surveillance and immunisation.
We take great pride in the way we have developed chronic disease management programmes - improving the care of patients with a range of serious chronic diseases. We also have regular review sessions for all of those who take regular medication for different medical conditions
We are open each day from 8am until 6pm but pre booked appointments are also available from 7am to 8am on Mondays to Thursdays each week.
During our opening times we offer a full range of appointments to cater for everyone’s needs.
Patients in need of urgent attention will always be seen the same day.
Patients with non-urgent needs will be offered the first available appointment with the doctor of their choice.
Disabled Patients
The surgery has suitable access for disabled patients, and all the patient areas including the waiting room, consulting rooms and toilets have wheelchair access
A hearing loop is in place at both reception desks.
Designated disabled parking spaces are located nearest to the Health centre entrance, in both car parks.
